The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!

On Father's Day, we took Norrin to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 (in 3D!) and he really enjoyed it. We all did! Well...there was one scene Joseph wasn't fond of especially since it was Father's Day (don't worry - no spoilers here!). He's getting so much better at sitting through a movie, keeping his glasses on, whispering when he wants me to pass the popcorn and just being okay with sitting in the dark. There was a time we couldn't go to a movie. Even the first sensory screening was a challenge. But it was okay there - people understood and no one judged. It was because of the sensory screenings, that we are able to go to the movies as a family whenever we want.
