A few weeks ago I shared why I want to attend this year's Niche Parent Conference and why I thought I should be selected as an ambassador. And today I am beyond excited to share that I have been selected to be an affiliate!
I wasn't planning on attending any conferences this year. But the Niche Parent Social Media Conference feels different. It allows me to attend a conference while spending quality time with Norrin (unfortunately, my husband can't make it). It will be our first Mother and Son vacation and the first time I'm taking Norrin to a conference.
I registered for the Niche Parent Conference weeks before I knew an affiliate opportunity would be available. While I've never been to a Niche Parent Conference, I am familiar with the community. And so I believe that #NicheParent14 will be a great opportunity for new bloggers who are looking to grow their business as well as those who are experts and leaders in their community.

You will feel welcome. I've been to conferences where there have been close to 5000 bloggers and bloggers with about 500. I prefer the conferences closer to 500. Conferences can feel overwhelming and intimidating especially for new bloggers. (My first conference was one of the bigger ones and looking for seat at lunch made me feel like a freshman on the first day of high school.) But a smaller, more intimate conference like Niche Parent, will provide opportunities for real connections. You don't need to be a parent or even blog about parenting to make an impact. The Niche Parent conference/community is open to all.
Not only will your presence be welcomed but your opinion will be valued. This year the Niche Parent Advisory Board will select several proposed sessions and workshops. However, they also want to know what speakers and sessions our attendees want to hear. After all submissions have been received, and an initial selection process from our Advisory Board, we will be posting selected panels and putting them to a vote for our attendees to decide! It's Family Friendly. One of the main reasons I don't attend conferences is because I don't like leaving my son behind. I know bloggers who have brought their children to conferences, and it's been fine. But Niche Parent feels totally inclusive. Especially this years conference because all sessions will take place in the morning, leaving plenty of room for family time fun in the afternoon/evening. It will feel like big ol family & friends vacation! And yes, child care will be available (during conference sessions) for an additional fee.
