I think photo booths at parties or gatherings are always a hit. It lets your guests be silly and have fun while taking a photo. I live in a small apartment with not a lot of wall space. But I knew I wanted to have a photo booth for my #DisneySide Home Celebration. So I cleared out the corner in my entrance way and got to work.
It was way easier than I thought. You don't have to go over the top and spend tons of money, have a huge space or a fancy camera (I used my iPhone). I created something simple and all of my guests loved it! It was nice to see them transform in front of the camera once given a prop.
For Photo Booth You'll Need:
2 - 3 plastic tablecloths* {I used 2 in a solid color}
tape
a few decorative items {streamers, balloons, beads}
fun props or signs or both {I used signs - see below}
a bucket to store props/signs
a bench
*See how wrinkled my table cloth is (of course you can.) Learn from my mistake. I did some research (afterward obviously). You can use a hair dryer on low and smooth out the wrinkles with your hand. Be sure not to put the hair dryer too close to the plastic table cloth.
What I lacked in my wrinkled plastic table cloths, I made up with my signs. I don't get crafty often but when I do, I impress myself. Take a look at some of my signs:
A photo booth is such a fun way to get in touch with your #DisneySide
To create the signs you'll need:
paper or card stock {I printed on regular paper and recycled old manila folders to cut and glue on back}
glue or tape {I used both}
popsicle sticks
scissors
Print out the signs.
If you print on card stock just take a popsicle stick and glue on to the back.
If you print on regular paper like I did. Glue on to a heavier surface. I used old manila folders. Then I cut.
I used my iPhone to take pictures and made sure I angled it so you could only see the photo booth area.
