#EverydayAutism April 2014

Last month I started the #EverydayAutism photo-a-day challenge. And it was absolutely amazing to see everyone's photos. Today is the last day of the challenge and there are almost 900 photos. (Whoa!)

Initially, it was something I wanted to do for the month leading into April for Autism Awareness Month
to show social media that for all of our kids differences, there are also many similarities. I wanted to use the photos to show people what autism looks like. But it did so well that I decided to keep it going.

 So...How do you play along?

You don't have to take the challenges so literally. Just share something - anything - that you think represents your child, the daily challenge and your #EverydayAutism.

Instagram would be ideal and when you post your picture (keeping with the theme for the day) use the #EverydayAutism. If you have an Instagram account, feel free to follow me @laliquin. If you have a Twitter account, tweet your photo with #EverydayAutism. I'll be following the hashtag on Twitter too.

And if you don't use Instagram or Twitter, that's fine too. You can still participate. Share this post and your photos on Facebook using the #EverydayAutism to let your friends and family know you're participating.
